Terms of Service
The short version
- Only process files you have the right to use.
- Free has limits. Pro is $5 a month or $51 a year, renews automatically, and you can cancel any time.
- Your files stay on your device, so keep your own copies. Nexvert is provided as is.
1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Fons Et Origio Events Organizing LLC ("Nexvert", "we", "us"). By using Nexvert at nexvert.app, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Nexvert. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission.
2. What Nexvert does
Nexvert lets you convert, compress, merge, trim and edit files such as images, videos, audio and PDFs. The processing runs in your web browser on your own device, so speed and the largest file you can handle depend on your device and browser. We may add, change or remove features over time.
3. Accounts
- You can use many features without an account. Some features, and Pro, need one.
- You can sign in with Google or Apple, or with your email and a code. Email accounts then set a password.
- Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account. Don't share Pro accounts.
4. Free plan and limits
The free plan includes limits, such as file sizes, the number of files at once and the number of compressions each month. Limits are shown on the site and may change. You agree not to get around limits, for example by using many accounts, scripts or tools that hide your device.
5. Nexvert Pro
- Price: $5 USD a month, or $51 USD a year, plus any taxes that apply (Paddle adds the right tax for your country at checkout). Prices may change; we'll tell you before a new price applies to your next renewal.
- Automatic renewal: Pro renews at the end of each period and charges your saved payment method until you cancel.
- Cancelling: cancel any time with the Cancel plan button in your account. If you can't sign in, use "Cancel Pro without signing in": we email you a code to confirm it's you. Pro then stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Refunds: if you're not happy, email us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. Otherwise payments aren't refundable, except where the law requires.
- Reseller: our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries about payments and handles returns, and Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
6. Your files and content
Your files belong to you. Because they're processed on your device and never uploaded to us, we don't claim any rights to them and can't recover them. Keep your own copies of your originals.
You may only process files you own or have permission to use. Don't use Nexvert to:
- Infringe copyright or other rights, or remove copy protection
- Create or share illegal content, including content that sexually exploits children
- Harass, defraud or harm anyone
- Attack, overload, copy, reverse-engineer or resell the service, or access it with bots in ways that put a load on it
7. Our rights
Nexvert's name, design, code and content belong to us or our licensors. Nexvert also uses open-source software under its own licenses. You may use Nexvert for personal and business purposes under these terms, but you may not copy or rebuild the service itself.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Nexvert and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or harm others. If we close your account without a good reason related to your conduct, we'll refund any unused, prepaid Pro time.
9. Disclaimer
Nexvert is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make it reliable, but we don't promise it will always work, be error-free, or that every conversion will be perfect. Results such as quality and file size can vary.
10. Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 USD if you haven't paid us.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell account holders by email or on the site before they take effect. If you keep using Nexvert after that, you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Abu Dhabi, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.
